We've been learning about plane shapes and solid shapes. With the solid shapes, we've been counting faces, edges, and vertices. We've been using pattern blocks to build other plane shapes. For example, students can use 6 triangles to make a hexagon. This week the students learned about congruent shapes and symmetry. Yesterday, the students learned about slides, flips, and turns.
