Writing

The students have been writing several stories about "Places They Like to Go" just like Donald Crews does in Big Mama's.  We read more about the author Donald Crews yesterday. He likes to sketch places and things that he likes and then he turns those sketches into stories.  Today, we took a little walk around Long and sketched some things on the patio and on the playground and we're going to turn those ideas into stories next week. Check out a few more stories about Places "We Like to Go":
